Zombified!
Students in Photoshop 1 used images of themselves, friends and even teachers and administrators to create zombies! These images greeted Trick-or-Treaters (posted high enough not to scare the little ones) for Trick or Treat on Unicorn Street.

Swimmingly Awesome! - Aspen
" I chose a landscape for the top of the water, then I found a underwater
picture and put them together by smudging them. Last I found a goldfish
and scuba diver, changed their size and opacity." - Aspen

Prism Shoe - Austin B.
"So... I found this tutorial online and started my work immediately. I found these paint splashing textures online with this tutorial. The rest is simply creating a clipping mask and then using the gradient fade adjustment layer over each of your paint layers. Use the eye dropper if you have to, and just erase or layer mask it to your liking. This shoe is LeBron James' "Prism" shoe, just thought this would be an interesting shoe to go off of instead of the one from the tutorial." - Austin B.

Pattern Collage by Maddy
"This is a collage of all the patterns I created. They were all made by
different brushes. The swirls are from the "spiky swirls" link Mrs.
Miller put on her blog. The mechanical looking one and the bubbles were
both sets of brushes downloaded from a website called
myphotoshopbrushes.com. And the cell brushes were also from melbrushes.
All were free downloadable files. I do recommend checking out that
website for a lot of cool brushes." - Maddy

Holiday Card from Vectors - Victor
I made most of this card out of vectors using the pen tool and the custom
shape tool. I used many different gradients to make the ornaments look
a little more round and pleasing to the eye as well as the tree. The
moon, stars, an the star on top of the tree i used outer and inner glow
to show light. I used different hues on the trees in the background to
simulate depth. I made the pattern on the ornaments myself and used the
filter spherize to make it seam like its around it. I warped the
"Winter Wonderland" around the moon.
